Ars Cameralis Silesiae Superioris

ⅩⅠ Ars Cameralis Festival

We awake cultural emotions

/7 — 29 Novemver 2002/

While I’m writing this few words inviting you to be a part of another Ars Cameralis Festival, a presentation of the cultural heritage of Silesia is being shown in the North Rhine-Westphalia region. While creating the program of this year’s edition, we were determined to translate the Polish-German relation into a mutual impact and influence of both cultures. That concept is reflected in this year’s program — the majority of events is dedicated to the German culture.

This international discourse should be based on a mutual benevolence and understanding, without any prejudices. Regardless the historical resentments, in the present moment of building indivisible Europe, we believe that much more binds us than divides us. Regardless any political differences, we believe that artistic matters are the most important. Matters which promote everlasting values that force you to look close to yourself and the surrounding world.
