ⅩⅩⅣ Ars Cameralis Festival

|

The archeology of everyday life

/8 — 28 November 2015/

Above all, we invite to our festival those, whose artistic stubborness does not lead to the front pages of newspapers. We search through corners of local bars and concert halls all over the world. We don’t seek compromise and we’re open for experiments. We mediate between the artist and the audience. Every year we are curious what arises from their meeting. Sometimes, the interaction is so sucessfull, that artists come back to Silesia within a few months.

This year, even more than usual, we are not afraid of opposites. We stake on the clash of places, styles and personalities. You don’t want to miss dark techno (Norman Nodge) and angel vocals (Keaton Henson). Some awaited events (Ariel Pink) and surprise concerts (’Kameralnie’ cycle) will take place. We will appear in philharmonic (Orkiestra Kameralna Polskiego Radia Amadeus) and under the ground in Guido coal mine (Joy Wellboy). Well known artist (Lydia Lunch) and those at the begining of their career (Kołakowski:Wykupisz:Korelus) will show up. There will be jazz, rock and electronic. There will be Spain and Africa.
