Jerz Igor is a music project of two artists Igor Nikiforow and Jerzy Rogiewicz. Both have worked with many prominent musicians including Marcin Masecki and Pink Freud. However, their music created for the youngest listeners is a completely different case. Three years ago, the duo released Little Record / Mała Płyta — an album fillef with beautifull lullabies, where Igor and Jerzy recorded majority of instrumental and vocal parts, but they also invited excellent musical guests. They also created the Small Orechestra of Jerz Igor. As a result they recorded an album where ballads are accompanied by nostalgic synth sounds from the 80’s, but also an orchestral glow associated with the 60’s. We will hear material from this album during the Festival’s concert. And, as the musicians emphasize, during the concerts you can talk and run!

Laura Veirs is an American songwriter who will appear at the Festival in a double role — she will perform for both adults and children. And Laura Veirs knows perfectly what young listeners want. There are 13 covers on her album Tumble Blee. Folk songs for children are performed with renowned artists, including Colin Meloy from The Decemberists, Basia Bułat or phenomenal instrumentalist, banjo player Béla Fleck. A beautiful musical adventure with such unforgettable songs as All the Pretty Little Horses, King Kong Kitchie Kitchie Ki-Me-O or The Fox, based on a fifteenth-century poem. The imagination of children will be undoubtely captured by very melodious songs with wonderfully complicated texts,. After all, these songs ask profound questions like „Why a bird can not eat an elephant?” or „Why my grandfather is not my grandmother?”.
