We know the theme of this year’s celebration of the Industrial Monuments Route, as well as the inauguration and the final event. Today, in the Historic Silver Mine in Tarnowskie Góry was held the first press conference of INDUSTRIADA 2018. The press conference was attended by: Henryk Mercik, member of the Silesian Voivodeship Board, Arkadiusz Czech, the Mayor of Tarnowskie Góry, Piotr Kuczera, the President of City Rybnik, Marek Zieliński, the director of Cultural Institution Ars Cameralis, Adam Kowalski, vice-director of Regional Institute of Culture and Adam Hajduga, Cultural Department of the Silesian Voivodeship Marshal Office. The conference was led by Anna Dziewitt Miller and arranged by bro.Kat. and Wietrzne Pole.
→ On Friday, 8th June ’Start-up of the machines’ — concerts, exhibitions, workshops, installations as well as night sightseeing will be held in eight industrial monuments located in Bytom, Chorzów, Cieszyn, Gliwice, Łaziska Górne, Siemianowice Śląskie, Tarnowskie Góry and Zabrze. Cultural Institution Ars Cameralis invites you to the Historic Silver Mine where the journey in search of a woman will begin. Many attractions awaits for you there: chill-out zone with workshops and interactive installation, and above all a cycle of musical exploration. DJ’s Praktyczna Pani & Lazy One, Paulina Przybysz and BRODKA will perform. Also, the machines and buildings of the mine will be ’brought to life’ by light illuminations created by Jan Dybała Jr.

An outdoor spectacle Women play industria will be the final event of INDUSTRIADA. 2 video-arts, 3 stages, 3 light mappings, 6 bands, 58 artists, 95 reflectors, 500 square meters of projection surface, 100 000 lumens of headlamps power. One day of a woman’s life told by acrobatics, light, music and held in an incredible scenery of the Historic Coal Mine ’Ignacy’ in Rybnik.
